DAY 1: KUCHING AIRPORT – HOTEL

Arrive at <Kuching> Airport in the evening. Our representative will greet you there. You will be taken directly to your Bed & Breakfast for check in. Free and easy until dinner time. King Prawn Seafood <Dinner> at The TopSpot . Overnight at hotel. ( Dinner )

DAY 02: KUCHING – BIDAYUH RASONG OF KAMPUNG SEMBAN – WATERFALLS/BOJONG KAMPUNG

( 0800hrs ) Check out and transfer by land from Kuching to <Bengoh Dam> by early morning.

( 0930hrs ) Arrive at Bengoh – Arrive at the Bengoh, you need to walk through the <scrub> on a well-maintained path through lalang grass and rubber trees. This trail also leads you through a bamboo forest and an open field, which made it a bit hot since the humidity is around 100 per cent. Along this place are about three stops for you to relax before continuing your walk. At this stop sometimes you will encounter with some <porters> bringing the loading on their back. And you will feel surprised that they can carry very heavy loading along the way to their <village>.

<Crossing the Bamboo Bridge> – Crossing this bridge is a must and as you are on this bridge, you will feel the cool and windy breeze. This heart-beating bamboo bridge crossing will test how stabil you are, but don’t worry, as you can hold at the hand rail on the right and left side. You will feel relieved each time after reach the bridge end. This experience will give you a very long lasting memory.

( 1130hrs ) Arrive Bojong- As you arrive Kampung Bojong, you will meet and greet your guide and porter to Semban. From the Bojong Village, your guide will lead your way to Kampung Semban through a very well maintained path through the forest, passing the village waterfall. Enroute Pinic Bamboo Lunch

( 1330hrs ) <Stairs to heaven> – From Kampung Bojong to Kampung Semban will takes you about 2 hours.(depend on how fast you are).Along the way, you can see the villagers farm. The treks soon become vertical, you will feel the sweat coming all over your body and you have to climb the staircase to heaven. It seemed to have no end – it went on and on. When you think that you almost there, there are still more stairs to climb and its cost a lot of sweats and energy. Along the way you will feel amazed as you climb up the steep slope where you are above the clouds. Here you can see the very spectacularly peaceful view over the Padawan <valley>. As soon as you arrive at the Kampung Semban, you will feel surprised of the <house> structure in the village. Almost all of the house here are made of <concrete> and you will feel impressed of how this people can manage to bring all the construction material along the tough way to this kampung. Get close to the people here who are from the Bidayuh Rasong ethnic and you can feel their warm hospitality towards you. Don’t forget to meet the <Ladies of The Ring> and the <bamboo musician> in the village. Take picture with them. There are only a few of them left because some were already get off the brass rings because of the rings sometimes hurting them and it needs a lot job to clean the brass everyday. The people here grow most of their food there and get the eggs from the <chicken> that roams freely in the village. They also growing chewing <tobacco> for their own usage. Linger around the Kampung before proceed back to Kampung Bojong for overnight. Dinner at Kampung Bojong Homestay.

DAY 03:           KAMPUNG BOJONG KAMPUNG – BENGOH – KUCHING

Wake up along with the Kampung Bojong community here and have breakfast with them in the morning. After <breakfast>, free at leisure! You may want to walk around the longhouse & say “ Good Bye ” to all of your friends that you have made during your trip here. We wish you can stay any longer with us & also hope that you will come back again. All we can say to you is good bye and wish you all the best & have a great time ahead. Trek back to Bengoh using the same way day before .Back to <civilization> – Arriving to Bengoh and you will be transfer by land to Kuching. ( Breakfast )
